LEWISTON, Maine — Three teenage juveniles and an Oxford teen were arrested Monday night and charged in connection with the robbery of a Big Apple store in Poland.

Count deputies received a call that the store on Route 26 had been robbed shortly before 11:30 p.m. by four males wearing dark hooded sweatshirts, their faces covered by bandannas. At least one of them brandished a gun, according to a press released from the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office.

A cashier and two customers were in the store at the time. The four teens left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes and fled the scene in a white car.

No injuries were reported.

Deputies stopped a white car on Route 124 in Minot after they spotted a car fitting the description of the getaway car in Mechanic Falls.

Cote Hall, 18, of Oxford was charged with Class A robbery, punishable by up to 30 years in prison. Also arrested and charged with the same offense were two 16-year-old males, one from South Paris, the other from Norway. The fourth person charged was a 17-year-old male from Oxford.
